Specializing in granite headstones, memorials, benchtops and custom made furniture, The Company not only has two retail memorial outlets but also a manufacturing plant as well as two South Australian granite quarries, one at Black Hill (black granite) and the other at Calca (red granite), near Streaky Bay. The two granite quarries owned and operated by the Tillett group have in recent years established a solid export market for raw material being sent to Thailand A third slate quarry at Mintaro S.A. provides the Company with one of the best slates available in the world. Chris Tillett, a fourth generation member of the Tillett Family has been Managing Director for over 20 years and has steered the company through times of great change.
